I happened to be out shopping and stopped by Kmart for a few things. One of them was the latest issue and I've enjoyed all that I've read so far. The editorial on culture is particularly noteworthy. So often the term gets reduced to a subset of a larger concept and Gene brings this out in the article. It is important, especially since the martial arts can easily be misunderstood. It definitely gives one something to think about.
Be diligent indeed

In Northern IL, it has been difficult to find the magazine for some time since Borders closed a few years ago. Barnes and Noble usually doesn't carry it (at least in the local area) but I found myself going to Wisconsin (Kenosha) where I was able to get the latest copy at Woodmans (something like a Safeway or Meijer grocery store)
It's tough to find newsstands anywhere that are big enough to support niche mags like us anymore. That's why most niche mags are going subscription now. We'll stay on the newsstands as long as you all support us there, but I foresee that inevitably, we'll have to go subscription only.
BTW, our cover story is now live: The Kung Fu Legacy of Outlaws of the Marsh

Our fb friends were quick to point that out. And we corrected it in a few minutes. Web publishing is so much easier than print.

We're pushing to break 300K likes with the run of memes from this issue. Yesterday's was really successful - nearly 66K views, 3100+ likes and almost 600 shares so far.

With this meme and by Kenton Sefcik's Chi Sao article, we're having sort of a Wing Chun moment at KFM this week. I wish I could say I planned that, but like our previous Shaolin moment, it was just good timing.
