Xin Jia Yilu and Push Hands Workshop with Master Tony Wong
2 day workshop with Master Tony Wong in San Francisco area. Day 1, half day, covers the basic components and foundations of Taijiquan, Silk Reeling Exercises with applications and eight energy drills, and introduces Xin Jia Yilu Fist Form. Day 2, full day, focuses on review of full Xin Jia Yilu Fist Form and Chen Taiji Push Hands patterns. Two days 150 USD or half-day session 60 USD. The Xin Jia Yilu form taught in this workshop is the original version from Grand Master Chen Xiaowang, the Standard Bearer of Chen Family Taijiquan and the direct descendant of Chen Wang Ting, the founder of Taijiquan. 15th Anniversary Celebration and Tai Chi Festival
The Peaceful Dragon is celebrating its 15 year anniversary with a tai chi festival for the public. The event will feature lion and dragon dancing, tai chi and kung fu demonstrations, discussions on Asian cuisine, health arts, culture, and much more. Admission is only 3 dollars per person, 5 dollars per family, but admission fees are waved with a non-perishable food item, which will be donated to a local food bank.
