The Shaolin Institute, Shaolin Temple Grandmasters, and Master Monks from the Shaolin Temple in China will offer free meditation and breathing seminar. This is a rare opportunity for individuals to learn directly from authentic Shaolin Grandmasters and Master Monks.
Grandmaster Shi Deyang, a 31st Generation Shaolin Descendant Grandmaster is the head of the Shaolin Warrior Monks at the Shaolin Temple; Shi Deru, a 31st Generation Shaolin Descendant Grandmaster of the Shaolin Temple and head coach of the US Kungfu Sanshou Team is the head of Shaolin Institute, New Orleans; and Youngest Master Monk Shi Zhong Qin is the disciple of Grandmaster Shi Deyang. These men are well regarded not just in China, but the world over, as three of the most insightful, knowledgeable, and respected Grandmasters and Master Monks from the Shaolin Temple. The three men will join together and conduct the meditation seminar for the people in Greater New Orleans free to the public.

Grandmaster Shi Deyang, the head master of the world famed Shaolin Temple has arrived in Atlanta. His Kungfu Brother, the head coach of the US National Kungfu Sanshou Team & head master of Shaolin Institute USA, Grand Master Shi Deru (Shawn Liu)welcomed him and had a great reception for him and his disciple Shi ZhongQin with press and Atlanta Shaolin disciples, and Asian Community friends. Grand Master Deyang’s visit is to join his Kungfu brother Grand Master Deru to have three days celebration of their Shifu’s 85th birthday with a major Shaolin Legacy show on Saturday November 14th 2:30 PM at 4350 Peachtree Industrial BLBVD, Norcross, GA.

The Liu International Shaolin Institute is excited and proud to bring to the greater Atlanta area UFC Rising Star Patrick Barry, a disciple of Grand Master Shi Deru, a Shaolin Institute Senior Discipleship Student, and Chief Assistant Kungfu Sanshou Coach. He will be at the Shaolin Institute’s Norcross, GA location during the Free and Advanced Training Seminars the weekend of November 13-15, 2009 to share his Kungfu Sanshou World Champion Fighting and UFC Champion Fighting experiences and autograph his “Hype or Die” T-Shirts for area UFC supporters and Sanshou and MMA fighters.

Sanshou kickboxing world champion fighter Patrick Barry has won 5 out 6 MMA fights and is the first heavy weight Kungfu Sanshou fighter in UFC. His last UFC win, which also won him the 104 UFC Knockout of the Night and Fight of the Night, adds onto an already impressive career, with Barry holding such titles as 2008 Combat USA Heavyweight champion, 2005 Kings of Kickboxing tournament champion, 2003 World Kungfu Sanshou Silver medalist, 2002 and 2003 K. Superstar US Professional Sanshou Kickboxing Champion, and the 2004 K. Superstar Professional International Sanshou Kickboxing Champion in Art of War – US Open International MA Championships. Patrick Barry is definitely one of the world-class top competitors to watch.

In this seminar you will learn the foundation for what it takes to be a qi healer. You will learn the methods for developing and conserving your own qi. You will also learn diet and meditation methods in order to develop the higher levels of qi required to be a healer.
Qi healing protocols, postures and mind intention methods will also be discussed. Supplemental exercises will be given.
