2013 Walking Tall Tournament
South Coast Martial Arts and the Kung Fu Heroes are proud to announce the 3rd Annual Walking Tall Tournament. Scheduled for Saturday, May 18th 2103, The Walking Tall Tournament will resume its spectacular tradition of providing a true "family style" martial arts competition featuring divisions in Kenpo Karate, Wushu, Shaolin Kung Fu, Forms, Weapons and Sparring.
Once again the tournament will take place inside our 15,000 sq foot facility in Costa Mesa, CA kicking off with an introduction of participating schools and a lion dance demonstration. All net proceeds from the event will be donated to the Walking Tall Foundation. For over 20 years the Walking Tall Foundation has created numerous events for the martial arts community and helped thousands of children with full and partial scholarships for performing, competing and training.
We have a lot of great activities coming up that will also help raise funds for the Walking Tall Foundation and many people from all walks of life have volunteered their time to help support this wonderful cause. As the date is fast approaching, I hope to see you in attendance.

Start time is 9:00 a.m.
Once again the tournament will take place inside our 15,000 sq foot facility in Costa Mesa, CA kicking off with an introduction of participating schools, followed by an exciting Lion Dance demonstration. All net proceeds from the event will be donated to the Walking Tall Foundation. For over 20 years the Walking Tall Foundation has sponsored numerous events for the Martial Arts community and helped thousands of children and young adults with full and partial scholarships for world travel, performing, competing and training.
We have many outstanding activities coming up this year; we welcome all of our Martial Arts family to come together, volunteer and participate in sharing our love for the Arts.

Warrior Monk Retreat

Zhao Changjun International Wushu Tournament
The Zhao Changjun International Wushu Tournament provides a rare East Coast opportunity to compete and watchin a wide variety of traditional and contemporary Chinese Wushu forms. The competition is open to all ages and skill levels. Categories include traditional hand forms, short weapons, long weapons, soft weapons, taiji hand and weapon forms, combat sets and group competitions.
