The year of the Rat starts February 7th, 2007 by the common Chinese calendar. In the Feng Shui calendar, which has a slightly different cycle, it goes from February 4th, 2008 to February 4th, 2009. The forecast calls for massive economic change worldwide. The economy of Asian will take a flying leap forward. There will be a noticeable shift towards the money and talent of the East. This will create a huge revolution in the global economy. Energy problems will inhibit world economic growth. This problem has the highest priority. It’s a very emotional period. There will be many conflicts, not just between husband and wife, but also between countries and different peoples. Many crises arise. In America, a series of plans to stimulate the economy will be put forth. A leader will arise to make America better and richer. A special person will make history. Global warming will be a huge issue, especially in East and Southeast Asian. Lung and kidney disease will increase. In the south, many epidemics will emerge. In Europe, a plague will return after a century of dormancy. East and Southeast Asia will also experience economic growth and attract many talented people. Wars will still be very severe in several regions. Many government scandals will make news. Many leaders will succumb to illness and injury.

The Way to Health
Eat more Chinese yam, American ginseng, white fungus, black fungus, mung beans, watermelon and pears. If your house faces northwest or south, mind your health. The second child will face hardships. If the master of the household is male, he must pay special attention to his health. Avoid opening doors that face northwest or south. If you have such doors, consult a fengshui master. Open doors to the east and southeast – these directions have better luck. Don’t block these doors with any decorations. The lucky charms for this period are the monkey, dragon and ox. Avoid the horse and rabbit.
