Which one is better?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the kung fu forum. I practice a variety of style and also learn a little bit of bagua from one of my close friends. I want to spend a little side money on training equipments. I know the basic equipments that I will need are punching bags or dummys. Instead of getting them new, I found some used ones at a local listing site.

Which one do you guys recommend?

or

How do each of them feel when your training with it?

Thanks

the bag is far better, the rubber man sucks, no matter waht it tips over constantly, but look for a leather hevy bag one and as heavy as you can find, 120 lbs is a good one, that way you will buy one and it will last you the rest of your life, the light ones swing and the vinyl breaks down tears, cracks and splits. hope this helps PS make sure you use a spring to absorb the shock,

PSS what stlye of mantis are you playing?

Another vote for bag. I have to use a dummy at the moment because I don't have a spot to hang a bag and, frankly, it sucks. I really, really miss having a good heavy bag. If you're capable of getting a heavy bag, DEFINITELY choose it over a dummy.
