Will be interesting to see the results... if I haven't forgotten about them in 10 years at least

    thanks for the update;

I still think 10 years of dedication is alright.

but 10 years of isolation from the outside world altogether may not be good.

usually, it is a journey of a life time, or life long persuit.

in short, we are not machine, even machine needs downtime or maintenance.

    along the same line,

I am against China's raising and training kids for olympic golds.

kids growing up with fellow kids and not with parents and relatives.

    sort of cruel.

everything comes with a price, I guess.

5 years of shuaijiao training is an excellent training regimen!

You will then understand most MA systems if your teacher is from the "old school" because shuaijiao contains elements that have withstood time regarding application and understanding. I am not saying is the best. Only saying that being more reality oriented, you can see what most systems are trying to employ when they do them and have the appropriate response.

It is the individual behind the art with the excellent conditioning and respect for all style!

I guess I am the only one who thinks this is ridiculous.

I don't think it is ridiculous, BUT I would never do it myself.

I might do 3 years, but not 10.

Although, I WOULD go into the wilderness and live as a primitive man if i could. That is assuming I could master the needed skills first. Right now I cannot even make fire without some sort of modern premanufactured implement. I'd probably die if I tried it now.

If I had the money, I would be there in a heartbeat.

Did you se the curriculum? It's awesome. I love the fact that he put firearms training in with this program. Also, the horseback riding is pretty sweet.

I already know just about everything I will ever need. I need to get better at it now. Spending 10 years on a mountain following someone else's program won't help me much. I need to find a way to train more on my own, and get with good people for the application and usage more consistently. All of these things I can do right where I am without separating myself from everyone I care about for extended periods of time.
