    It was an interested episode.

As far as the one inch punch, they had one of the guys punch and measured it and it was around 325lbs of force. The one inch punch measured a little over 100lbs, and then he said that the 3 in. punch was more realistic. This is the punch where you put your finger tips on the person and then roll them into a fist as you punch.

This punch registered at a little over 200 lbs.

Ever check out our website ads?

They're on the inside back cover. July August 2008 featured Anthony Kelly. He holds a bunch of Guinness World Records for speed oriented stunts. He's a ninja, but he also has a background in Hung Gar. I daresay we'll be hearing more from him soon.

    From his website:

"He has mastered, to Black Belt level, nine different martial arts and Anthony is committed to offering you the best martial arts training in New South Wales, and possibly all of Australia."

NINE?!?! Back in tha day, I didn't think that your rank carried over to another martial art.

I wish they had let Anthony do the "normal" punch, too, instead of Jamie or Adam (whoever it was). Just for comparison. Cuz they were comparing:

    Normal person, regular punch

    vs.

Ninja, 1 and 3 inch punch

So we know that a ninja can generate 2/3 as much force from 3 inches as a regular person can with a normal punch, but how much can a ninja generate from a regular punch?

I will say that I was glad to see he didn't pull his hand back any, like so many people seem to do.
