One would hope he is preparing in a manner appropriate to the new forum within which he would fight.

On a completely unrelated note, I wonder how many top-ranked MMA guys could so much as hold their own in a high level judo/wrestling/boxing/muay thai/etc competition? I don't mean that as putting them down in any way. It's just such a different focus from one context to another. Even MMA guys who were all American wrestlers in college, give them 3 months to prepare and take them to the nationals and how many would make it past the first round? Different training, focus, etc. Just interesting to consider.
