Beijing Traditional Kungfu Training Camp Summer 2007

Dear all,

My two teachers, Mr Zhang Xinbin from the Muslem Tongbei style in Beijing, and Mr Mike Martello of Wutang Belgium, have cooperated to organize a traditional Chinese martial arts training camp. I will also be part of the organisation and will be one of the interpreters/assistants at the training camp.

Our goal for organizing this training camp is to promote traditional Chinese martial arts and enhance the friendly relations between the martial arts organizations from around the world. During the camp, we will aim at cultural exchange and friendly interaction between East and West. The participants will receive tuition from high level Chinese instructors.

The camp will be held in August this year in Beijing. Included in the program are hotel accommodations, class fees, group meals, entrance fees and transport for sightseeing. All costs are covered within the program price. Not included are plane ticket and personal expenses such as buying souvenirs, individual travel etc. Basically, it’s only about 50 euros a day, all-in.

The styles of Shaolin, Taiji, Tongbei, Mantis, Xingyi, Bagua, Sanda, Chinese wrestling and many more will be available, depending on the needs and preferences of the participants. A big emphasis will be placed on the Muslem Tongbei of Master Zhang Xinbin, and Sifu Mike Martello will of course teach Praying Mantis. Also, the styles of Taiji Meihua Tanglang and Six Harmony Mantis of the Beijing lineage of Grandmaster Ma Hanqing will also be part of the program.

Training will take place at an authentic Ming Dynasty kungfu temple. For an overview of the training grounds and some of our instructors, please go to:

I hope you will all be interested. For more info, please mail to beijingcamp@gmail.com

Regards,

Rene Ho
