Ernie,
Coming from this bookworm who collects lots of WC articles under the Sun, Greg did a terrific job to describe in a logical, concise, and systematic way the WC method of power development from body mechanics, joint/tendon strength, dragon pole, pun sau, and lastly Baat Jaam Do. I like in particular these insightful quotes: "Wing chun's dragon pole trains the body, breath and mind all in one action" "Dragon pole training, while initially training you to be powerful, ultimately teaches us to be receptive, soft and yielding." "Dragon pole applications are direct, powerful no-nonsense actions designed with the quick and violent realities of combat in mind." the real kick of the article is when he delves into the "Power from Within" or the development of internal power aka "scary wing chun" that you blasted me to smithering pieces when I first cross swords with you. Ha! Ha! Sufficient to say that I now know all your tricks, Bruce! Watch out here comes this challenger. Regards, |

Does the magazine issue (December 2003) hit the stand yet? I went to 3 or 4 local bookstores to hunt for this particular issue and can't find it anywhere. I need to replace the one that I borrow from Gary. It got dirty and oily thank to my sticky fingers during lunch. Ernie, if you read this. Keep it hush hush, okay?

Ernie, I thought perhaps you can lend me your copy until I can purchase another one at a later time? As much as I love to experience things 1st hand so far, you never knows how Gary's humor mood is . He may do me in this time! Ha! Ha!
