I was just informed on another forum that the guy who did the stomping was the sensei of the guy he stomped.
So he stomped his own student for not following the rules or something.
Don't know how accurate that source is, tho.

this was posted / debated here about 6- 8 months ago...pretty mucheveryone seemed to be of the opinion that the guy who did the stomping should be arrested and jailed for assault, end of story;

Any way you cut it, way out of line, and assault with intent, should have been arrested on the spot
