Hi,

Can anyone recommend some good documentaries (VHS or DVD) about Chinese history?

I have seen the excellent "China: A Century of Revolution" which deals with 1911 - present day and covers a lot about Mao, Chiang Kai Shek etc.

I also have seen "China Rises" and "China From the Inside" which are also good, but deal only with the present day China.

Now I am looking for something specifically covering pre-Republic era. Preferably the whole of the Ching era.

Is there anything out there?
