    cardiobarbells

    anyone have any experience with these?

    saw it in a fitness magazine. supposed to be useful for a simple combined cardio and resistance circuit exercise

    They're weights. You can do the same with any weight. Dumbbells, barbells, sand bags, medicine balls. Weights are weights.

    yeah, you can do the same with any light weight. I think the main difference here is the weight and length of the barbell - it's not a 45lb olympic barbell. However, you can buy any DP weight set and get a light barbell and just add light weights on it. BodyPump and other group fitness exercise variations have been doing this for years. it's basically just high rep, light weight lifting, donw in a circuit type fashion.
