    Yes.

I've never heard of the body armor drill referred to as 2 hugs and a kiss...I like it...

As far as favorite weapon for practice I would have to go with my Hung Gar Plum Blosson chain whip. Although I am far from perfect and had my fare share of being smakcs in the head or nads. Sometime I leave out the fancy stuff such as under the legs, etc... Also it is usually practiced with a 3 part southern whip however I cut a couple of links out of my 9 section so I could practice in my apartment and still have flexibility. I think it's at 5-6 sections.

My favorites to use are listed below beginning with the most preffered and ending with the least preffered.

-25 Semi aka Saturday Night Special
    -Pepper Spray Teargas Combo
-Chain whip made with a clip on one end and my keys at the other end for striking, kind of like a modified wallet chain
-Black & silver pen that works like one and has a blade inside
-The so called ninja key ring with the 2 metal peices the stick out and go in between your fingers with a point on one end

    Regards!

My weapon that I am best with is the double daggers.

but I also like the staff and the straight sword, the latter of which I suck at.

I have one now but I'm still figuring out how to use it... 7lbs is a lot of sword.

well, they make it easier for me at least...
I tried using Gumdo style techniques with it but it felt like doing Gumdo with a club.

    Well this ain't no foil...

    It also ain't no katana.

If Xingyi involves using giant swords at all I may be in luck. I met a Xingyi player recently. He's not a great fighter but he could still be a valuable resource.
