If it's the same ShiYanChang, didn't get that good of a look at the tournament, that I'm thinking about, then he already has his own place but so far he's only teaching internal arts. This is his website.

One letter can make all the difference just like one stroke in Chinese calligraphy...or swordsmanship.
Yanchang is a different monk than Yanshang. Yanchang came over early, one of the first, in fact. Yanshang just came over. I think Tsingtao is right - it is the same monk in the Kwandao video. Like I said, it was the first time I met him, as well as the first time I met Goucan (Justin) and Shaolinlueb, for that matter. It was also the first time that I have seen Yanfeng since 1998. Quite the Shaolin gathering really. I had a lot of fun.

It was a small event, but quite fun for Shaolin family. It was great to see so many old friends and make some new ones. Definately one of the most laid-back tournaments I've ever been too, almost like in internal school event. But I don't want to give too much away either look for the write up in our Jan/Feb 2005 issue, on stands in Dec 2004.
BTW, SLL, you look great in that got qi? shirt.

Dear Mr. GeneChing:
It was a pleasure meeting you this weekend and sharing the many stories you have to tell about Shao-Lin. I hope that you found some of my discussion enlightening, as well. I appreciate your keeping secret the secrets of the Dim Mak Seminar, until which time they can be revealed. It was nice to meet and spend time with Shi Xing Ying, Shi Yan Feng, LiPeng Zhang, Shi Guocan, Shi Yanshang and Shi Guolin as well. Although I am always amazed by the skill of these monks, I have never been intimidated. However, in meeting Shi Guolin for the first time, I must say that his imposing nature smacked me right in the jaw!
I, too, had a chance to meet with several old friends who perhaps should have been competing, and would likely have done very well, I might add, had circumstances been different. As I had to foster the growth of my inner child, I was unable to attend Sunday's festivities. Meanwhile, per our discussion, I will have the facts of my work on your desk tomorrow morning.
Sincerely,
dimmakseminar

Dear Mr. Blooming Lotus:
Regarding Shi Guolin, Mr. GeneChing knows of what I speak.

KL: I assure that I'm all natural. No extensions, no silicon, no steriods. That beely of mine has been cultivated by many hard hours of beer drinking.
DMS: We missed you on Sunday. I was hoping to get you into the 'fomrum members' shot, but then black out your face like a porn star to keep your identity concealed. That would have been fun. I'm interested in that shaolin vs. tkd footage you have. Any chance you can make a little quicktime and post it here for everyone?
BL: Thanks for the props, girl. Are you still working on getting Victoria into my fan club?
SLL: It's not about the beard - it's about the extensions.

Dear Mr. GeneChing:
The facts have been sent. Please let me know that they have been received. Perhaps you can use them in a future feature story. Additionally, as you can see by my lack of a website, these types of skills are not my forte, and thus it may be difficult to transfer the Shao-Lin vs. TKD mastertape from the Korean archives. However, it is a most interesting tape and until which time I can post it or get you a copy, I will hold the remainder of your reading audience in suspense about the results of said altercation.
Sincerely,
dimmakseminar
