women are not attracted to men according to what a man looks like.

women are attracted to power first, wealth secondly. (usually these things go hand in hand, but power is more important)

Bikers, for the most part are confident and have power over your average run of the mill citizen type. women in a general sense crave to have that power or to be close to it.

men who primp and preen and work towards looking like a male model are more often than not h0mosexuals and women know this. If not, they are unusually vain, which is also not attractive to women.

anyway, there you have it, and though some women may have difficulty admintting that it is power that attracts them to men, truthfully, it is so.

men on the other hand are much more shallow. and that's why it is not hard to sell shirts that say "no fat chicks".

we are much more superficial in our desires in regards to women, because smart or powerful women intimidate us and make us feel less than manly. So, even if women are fabulously rich and powerful, they are not attractive to most men unless they have super hot bodies and cute faces.

If you disbelieve any of what I have just said, check out the porn industry. It is almost zero targeted at females and even the men in porn suit a male ideal and not a female ideal.

males that are vain and overtly body concious are viewed as play things and pastimes by women. What they really want is what they don't have and that is power.

I dated an Italian cop in Rome (Carabinieri) and I've been with a few French women while in Marseille. Were they hot? Heck ya. However, from personal experience let me tell ya, personal hygene in not top priority on their list.

Imagine yourself going down on tuna, sardines, and 8 day old fish parts that's been sitting out in the hot summer sun. That's right, you hold your breath and return the favor that was bestowed on you, and pray that she's ready to get drilled quick so you can come up for air. But then again, it's like anything else, you can get used to the taste, but the smell, man it was rough.

Moral of the story, European women have NAP, but look great.

I'm not sure if liking someone for their boobs actually is more shallow than liking someone for their wallet. At least the boobs are part of a person.

And I'm not with you (and Freud) on this one. I know why you're saying this, and I agree with you generally... but I think the 'power' in question is very general: it doesn't necessarily mean power over other people, for example - it just means occupying a position of importance in the woman's personal narrative. Given how much personal narrative's vary, this position can come in many forms. And women have never really lacked 'power' in that sense; so I think there's something going on here other than wanting 'what they don't have.'

Men are shallow in what they like about women. I mean let's face it, it's nice to have a woman that can think for herself and in fact in this day and age, it is even becoming somewhat desirable to have strength and power in a chick...as long as she looks like lara croft in tomb raider, but I'm guessing M.Albright ain't getting too much stiffy on her wake up if ya get my inference. And there ain't no demand for Martha to do a nude spread in playboy. see what I'm saying?

However, woody allen is dating fetuses and it is still quite socially acceptable for male fossils to be screwing nev campbell type girls but just kinky if its the other way around.

If Liv tyler bones a grandpa it's no big deal, but if ashton kucher screws demi moore, it's because she is still hot and has power to move his career forward, so it's a very fine line to giggolo for him.

I'm not saying it's good or bad, I'm just saying that in my 40 trips around the sun, this is the way it appears to be and by all indications, for teh most part, I am in the correct in regards to what men want from women and what women want from men.

You can put a john Grey dress on things and start putting real nice words around stuff, but in the end, men attract women through wealth and power and women attract men through the rack and the ass.

yes, generally speaking, what I say is true. There are always exceptions of course and as paradigms shift, so to do the actions and preferences of the general populace.

It is afterall according to the zeitgeist.

But for now and as long as I can remember, the paradigm hasn't shifted too too far away from what I'm talking about as the accepted norm.
