No way that striking in MMA well ever LOOK like pure striking in MT, Boxing, KB or any other stand up only art.
Stances is different, strategy is different, tools are different, etc.

yep we have been over this on this forum almost as much as we have had arguments over chi sao lol

There are a number of very good Thai guys in the UFC, a lot from Europe but as you say they look nothing lol they do in K1 of pure Thai matches, doesnt mean they dont have the skills, means their ability and willingness to show those skills in MMA is different

Yep, if you look at the clips of Anderson Silva in MMA, you don't see the "orthodox" moves of his MT back ground, BUT if you see him doing MT, there they are.
Ever see that clip of him boxing?
He is a very good boxer and moves just like a pro.

Yes he does, when he doesnt have to worry about the takedown and 4oz gloves

Been in the ring with paul daley...i know first hand how good his Thai is, yet it changes as you say when the rules and venue changes

Yep, always.
"Rule set" dictate the "look" of the fight.
You will never see "pure" MT outside of a MT match, just like you will never see pure Wing chun or pure Hung kuen or pure greco-roman outside the context they were designed to be used in AND against.
The moment you throw takedowns in VA a standing art, the stance MUST change ( as well as how you hold your hands), the moment you throw striking against a grappling art, the hands change, the strategy changes, etc
