Where can one most likely find Shaolin animal forms? Traditional Kung Fu or Shaolin Kung Fu Games? It seems that animal forms are not a much a part of their curriculum anymore...

    Fair question

Within the scope of TCEC, there would be more within the traditional and wushu divisions.

Within Songshan Shaolin, there are animal forms but for the most part, those are considered more part of the Southern Shaolin curriculum than at Songshan. There's a semi-standard 5 animal form that is floating about the Songshan circles (I even did an article on that for our print magazine, but I can't find it right now). Most regard that as a reconstructed form however.

Did you all not consult your Feng Shui adviser for about the 5th day of the 5th month being inauspicious day? or maybe that's just the lunar month...

I'm going to say it's lunar

It's Cinco de Mayo, you know.

Truth be told, we are limited by parameters set by the venue, as well as other tournaments in the area. For example, certain weekends (like Memorial Day weekend) are much more expensive. Plus there's consideration for schools, like getting too close to finals for the nearby universities. There are a lot of factors that are practical limitations and Feng Shui is not a major one in that calculus.
