Ground game can be fun to watch if ground striking is used.

It's still more fun to watch than boxing.

    The first one:
While it was a well executed game plan, clearly the winner was a cut above the other guy. I mean, the guy on the bottom didn't even try to hip escape or buck, or, or, or. Come on, he was outclassed. He had no idea what to do on his back while being punched in the face. Turtling can at times be a valid defensive technique, but is pretty much the beginning of the end. Of course when being beaten, and you are tired, people are going to turtle. It's natural when you have nothing else to offer. But this guy turtled right away. It's like he gave up as soon as his back hit the mat. Turtled up and said take an arm, please!

    The second one:

Wow, talk about fantasy meeting reality!!! It's one thing to get bitch slapped, it's a whole other thing when you showboat like that and then get bitch slapped!

That clip has been in circulation for a real long time, pretty famous...I heard it's not real, from some B movie or something...don't know for sure though..just heard that...the NON energy drink commercial is a spoof of this clip...

I looked. It's from some MMA movie I never bothered to watch. Mos def on some B shit!

Still a pretty cool scene though...

Yeah I think that was a low res cam to make it more realistic as if somebody was using a cell phone to record it. In the final clip in the movie it jumps between that and the closer color shots that pan around the Capoeira guy. I wonder how many takes it took to get the one punch looking right. The Capoeira guy was mos def a good tumbler and his timing was nice on the fake connection. Anytime I see action flicks I always think about stunt men and what they really did or did not do.

There are less dramatic but comparable real one punches all over youtube tho.

Yeah, they did a decent job making it look real...but since I think Capoeira is cool...here's a dude doing his art justice..

Ah, see now, I'm not saying that sport and art aren't different.

To refer to the "sport" is to refer to the fact of it.
While, referring to the "art" you are referring to the thing that the fact is made of.
I'm just pointing out that they don't have to be mutually exclusive.
