i know in the old days that as kids their shins would get chipped by a hammer and the bones would grow back stronger. do they STILL do this today?

either way, although they don't look like it at first glance, thai kicks are vicious.

8 upper cut defenses: frontal kick to distance yourself, body turn with eblow up, or move in

the moving in part is like Ba Ji tactics, too.

    Hi SPJ,

Thai kicks are very agressive. I like the way Buakaw kicks. It is like he has serpents for legs.

I am at a disadvantage when it comes to the stuff coming out of Thailand. I have yet to see the real thing. We only see the sport.

    Really no credit, really?

Buakaw has close to perfect technique and has ultimate control of his kicks, but he doesn't kick the hardest.

However they are absolutely FAST and well, more than hard enough.

Just ask Masato or Andy Souwer, LOL.

The law of specificity is awesome.
You do something and you do it over and over and you do it in a realistic way, you will find the best and most effective way to do it.

The thai round kick is, for what it does, the best round kick on the market.
