I guess that is the level of discourse with which you mostly commonly identify, so no surprises there...

Chris, from a sampling of Kemo/Preacher's posts, you can't help but ask

HOW CAN ONE MAN BE SO WRONG ABOUT SO MANY THINGS

Of course, his "posts" barely qualify as Engish, must be the school system down there in sugarland

It's a derivative of STOOJITSU!. Everyone agrees that two of the founders were Moe and Larry. There are some who insist Shemp was the 3rd master. Others are in the Curly camp.

to be a complete art i feel you must have/train all.

    thus MMA
what do you mean by training? mma can be anything if you define it that way. maybe tai chi combined with aikido? throw some combat ki into the mix and you have a complete style.

Thus MMA? Is this Ipse Dixit Veritas? (that means "So he saith 'tis Truth" in High Gothic Greek, in case you don't know).

The Thus MMA seems out of place, the Preacher. Although I am loath to say it, because we generally agree 100% on most issues (unlike these other whining ninnies on this forum). The reason I think it's out of place is that MMA isn't a style. It's an alternative lifestyle. You have to start wearing leather and getting tattooes, buying the newest high-tech plastic moulds of pornstar vagines and humping them like a leathernecked cully. And when you're humping your sister, you have to do it raw, and put the yard in without any lube.

In CMA, we teach ultimate killing potential without resistance. Hence, we do not shun the use of Astroglide (which can be safely used with a prophylactic, unlike the "pure lard" that MMA guys use when putting the yard in their sisters).

Plus, when I fight, I do so in the shadows. There aren't any shadows in an MMA ring, so I refuse to fight in a "legit" MMA ring. Let's see you get into an octagon with no lights on with me, and see how well you fare. I'd fight Chuck Liddel and George St. Pierre in the dark, at the same time. I'd slice them to ribbons with my naginata. Plus, I train in places where it's too hot or cold to fight in spandex shorts, and considering the local sexual demographic in LA, too dangerous to do so without putting your arse in danger of a pocked-up tarse.

Maybe I'm old school, but I just don't advocate buying plastic moulds of pornstar vagines, and then humping them dry while singing "Amazing Grace" with gusto. Plus, I prefer manly and sophisticated fragrances like CK1 for men. I refuse to wear something as gross as that eau de toilette Black Leather, which makes you smell like Black Angus.

BTW, how is there "controlling" in MMA? So far as I can tell, they like jumping on the ground with one another. Let's see them try that nonsense against someone like me, who doesn't like "going down" on the top of any bloke (or even fit babes, for that matter). And let's see them try that nonsense in the dark.

I think you're a bit off base here, mate. Let's get back on point and start talking about stuff that really matters. That way we can start agreeing again, if you find that agreeable.

    "style"
    yes a "lifestyle"

    "practice what, get what!"

ART is an individual expression -- "style"

whether your "style" came from a single source, (unlikely)
or from a variety of sources

each person must incorporate what works for them
and create their "kung fu lifestyle"

Except for MMA. It has no control. Especially self-control.

Now boxing to me is more sport than MA, but your right its got great "punching techniques". MMA to me is the highest form of "sport MA" its a chess match, but don't confuse aggression with lack of self-control theirs lots of rules in MMA and diffrent rules at diffrent places UFC,PRIDE,ect. if thay had no self-control you would see people getting alot more hurt and kicked out more.

so are you a preacher? or is it just a name.
