    Training in Tokyo

So, I thinking about working in Japan for awhile, but I don't intend to stop training. It may seem like a contradiction in terms, but does anyone know any CMA schools in Japan? A friend of mine said she read about a CLF school in Tokyo, but forgot the URL.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Yup, that's the one she remembered. I've never practiced CLF, but I'm always open to new things. Just wondering if it would be hard to get into after practicing other MA's or if it's a reasonably easy transition? Any CLF practitioners with input?

I know of quite a few I guess.

There is xingyi, clf and a few wing chun ones, plus if you wanted to try Chen style taichi one of the Chens teaches near and in Tokyo. There's also an interesting guy who teaches his favourite concepts from daito ryu aikijutsu and xingyi mixed.

I wouldn't neglect the Japanese arts if I were you! There are LOTS of them here! They have a lot of variety, they're not all just hard karate or wet aikido cliches.

Anyway, PM me and I'll sort you out with some ideas when I have time.

I checked out the web site, but They wer using Japanese terms and I couln't tell what it meant. The few pics they had seemed like they did something that resembles clf.

It's Hung Sing CLF and he has a couple of schools. He posts here as Kei Lun so I'm surprised he hasn't commented yet.

Post something in the Southern forum and maybe he'll see it.

    Mat,
Are you still having sparring sessions outside a sports center or have I gotten you mixed up with someone else?
