I'm heading out there Thursday morning.

There is no REAL secrets in Wing Chun, but because the forms are conceptual you have to know how to decipher the information..That's the secret..

For us it's a diffferent weekend because we work real hard to make the event a success. But, im dissapointed I coulld not be there being Im Sifu Goldberg's senior ranked student. I feel really bad. But Im glad you and others were there. Please let me know how it went.
Thanks,

I just got back from NJ and the MA expo in Atlantic City. There were many booths with all sorts of innovative MA training equipment, books, videos, etc. After checking into the hotel at the Tropicana Casino the very first person I saw was an old friend from Brooklyn. While looking for a place to eat I saw a familiar face (and very smartly dressed I might add), in the distance. It was Jason Lau. I walked over to him to talk. I hadn't seen him in years. We took a few pics together. I got to meet lots of martists I knew from years ago.
After talking to Sifu Alan Goldberg I remembered that I met him a few times at Jason Lau's school in Brooklyn.
During the expo I ran into Sensei Ronald Duncan who was doing a seminar there. I was surprised that he remembered that I was one of his Black Belts from the Court St. Dojo in Brooklyn. There were a few MA celebraties there as well as Joe Piscopo (sp)? who spoke. There had to have been over 1000 people at the banquet Sat. night. Here are some pics from the Expo.

I'd love to go to an event like that sometime.
I forgot the picture of my Panamanian friend and former Sensei, Master Ronald Duncan. BTW, I don't gamble but while I was sitting at a slot machine near some of the guys I decided to put a quarter in just out of boredom. I got 405 quarters back with just one quarter. I cashed out immediatley with my winnings

I met Jason Lau when I was studying with Duncan Leung back in the 70's. He would come and visit with Duncan Leung. Then I met him again when I studied with Moy Yat in Brooklyn after Duncan Leung left for Virginia. I also lived in Brooklyn and would go by and visit Jason's school on Flatbush Ave.Originally Posted by cche7
