Bill Gates pulicly owned (vid) - Ctrl + Alt + Del

This is hilarious. The guy who invented ctrl+alt+del talks about it.

The look on Bill Gates' face is priceless.

    corporate traitors

Gates like most other raiders amount to othing but traitors to the united states of america,
When a man engages his wallet more than the red white and blue he is through.
he hords money and does not re introduce the majority back into the economy in fact he introduces billions into the economies of nations that will allow their citizens to slave over his product, so even if the corporate raiders only crime was profiteering from a pseudo slave labor this (under the state of our union after robert e lees defeat) constitutes treason. Men have died to abolish slavery.
If a group of men supported saddam or Osama because they could offer their people as cheap lavor then they would be at get mo bay

It seems a little wierd that the guy dosen't have a sense of humor. A guy like Gates should be able to laugh at himself. That comment was actually pretty clever.

Bill Gates has personally given millions of dollars from his pocket to establish research facilities irrespective of bs political machinations of slow uncaring govts, to research into endemic disease and water supply.

That's pretty much the ideal of free market philanthropy.

Plus, who the fu(k do you think pays for your 'red white and blue'? Through taxes and corporate donations your govt is bought and paid for by people like him. Personally, thanks to his philanthropy, I could almost forgive him going hand in hand with the oil firms and the mercenaries who are the real corporate traitors.

    Give him a medal.

    taxes?

ive got news for you one of the benefits of using outside slave labor is the lack of any matching income taxes. Also it is well known that most corporations get welfare and tax breaks in the USA esp Gates. However i am not narrowing it down to him my point is simply that in the 50's 60's 70's corporation owners had a deep sense of personal connection to the USA and wouldnt dream of weakening it for an extra billion. If you asked them to invest in other nations they would laugh and say they might buy a piece of the nation but investing would be treason. The only thing i am saying is that these big *****s should be consistent
either live here and support the USA with jobs etc or move to where they are creating jobs so those poor people can see who is profiteering of their blood.
Also Mercenaries dont kill unless paid by corporate PR1cks this i know.

Oooh. Oooh. I know. Let's take a pretty funny video and turn it into an arguement! Cause we have nothing else to do!

Awesome find. Can't say I've ever seen someone screw themselves out of a job so quickly in so public a forum before.

uh, darkfist, you're sounding like a chomskybot right about now.

I suggest you do a little reading on Mr. Gates. The foundations he heads, the money he puts into the USA school system etc etc.

The man is a multi-billionaire. He is this because he pushed the creation of an OS that more than 80% of the computer using world uses.

I don't think his success makes him evil and he is subject to the same laws as anyone else. IE: you wanna change corporate behaviour then change the laws that govern them and allow them to do business in your country. Don't complain about owners who make sure they are within the law in order to grow their bottom line. That's just capatilism, which is pretty legal pretty much everywhere that isn't commie or pinko.

It's the laws, and the governemnts who makes those laws. The goevrnment is the responsibility of the people. People who are uninformed or misinformed have a harder time casting a vote that will count for what they believe in.

So it comes around to you, as a voter.

Apathy is very strong in well fed and wealthy nations. That is a drawback to being in them.
Kung Fu is good for you.

no, they may be considered peacemakers. the ability to enforce a foreign policy be it corporate, state or individual is often beyond the bounds of the constitution's ability to regulate.

if a group could get laden and his followers to become wage slaves that might be considered an act of peacemaking through conflict resolution.

Wow! don't ever forget this: I actually agree with you on this point.

one factor that MS capitalized upon is the general sense of socialism that occurs in the pacific northwest at the wage-worker level. it's part of what made them a success. they could convince their employees to accept less cash in salary for a stake in the business.

I always see people doggin BG. Saying that he is a greedy monster blah, blah blah. However, I read that Gates and his wife give more than everybody else in America combine. And remember he doesn't have to give anybody anything.

    I know I could give more, but I don't.

Mr. Jamieson has taken the correct, given it a user friendly interface and made it available to millions of people for a reasonable price.

    Sifu darkfist,

Jobs weren't sent overseas 50 years ago to the degree they are today because was difficult and much more expensive at the time to set up a transferrence of labor. At the time in the US, technology was expensive, but labor was cheap. Now that has reversed itself, so more jobs are unfortunately outsourced to people who not only will work for far less, but are usually better educated than their US counterparts.

A lot will have to change with future generations to reverse that trend.

You think a US businessman of 1960 wouldn't have opted for foreign labor to make an extra million because of some sense of propriety? Why would you think that, when this country has a long tradition of unfair labor practices and enslavement of its own people?

This is a great country, but our corporate past is far from idyllic.
Do your homework before you rant.

And that was a funny video. It almost looked like Bill just wasn't listening to the guy, and he was trying to play it off.

more likely, he just didn't get it.
