It's Tough to get people together to go "play kung fu" in the park or at a gym or something like that. I have been to a few gatherings here around the Austin area and the turn out is always the same. only a few people show up if any, we stand around and talk most of the time, show a few things. maybe cross hands a little bit, then we get tired and either go home or go get a beer somewhere. It would be nice to have something that is a tad bit better, but for the most part, people's time frames are filled and its a busy busy life. Most who train in a school have their time designated for the school and nowhere else.
In the past i have been to a few gatherings in other cities and they have turned in to fight club type things and people lose their seriousness and wind up just brawling out in the park, some nancy boy or elderly lady sees it, calls the cops, they show up, and thats all she wrote.
Where in Texas are you at?

It makes me mad when people say I turned and ran like a scared rabbit. Maybe it was like an angry rabbit, who was going to fight in another fight, away from the first fight.
