    chinese medicine and torn ligaments

i know ligaments don't heal due to no blood flow in them, is there anything in chinese medicine that can substitute knee surgery for torn ligament, for a guy who like to grapple?

You would have to see an acupuncturist. Better would be someone like myself who is both an acupuncturist and an herbalist.

Not something just a simple dit da jow would treat.

    Where do you live?

I can recommend someone who can help.
Mouth Boxers have not the testicular nor the spinal fortitude to be known.
Hence they hide rather than be known as adults.

Torn ligaments do not heal, acupuncture, herbal treatment may help with pain, but that's probably it. You can try PT to strengthen the muscles supporting the joint, but a tear usably means surgery. A few guys at my BJJ academy haves good success with knee surgery for torn ligaments, they got scoped and did not miss much mat time......a few weeks
