Anyone seen this clip before? Comments?

Looks very well executed.
Hey Sean, since you are actively posting again ... what happened to the English translation?
It doesn't look stiff & predetermined because you are not starting off from chi sau between student and teacher.
The problem is we don't know the history of the other people in the clips. They could be relatively new students for all we know.
What you'd want to see is a similar level of skill from his 1st...
As you've noted before guy, a lot of similarity between Pak Mei and Chow Gar in my opinion. But the devil is in the details. Wish I had caught the kung fu bug when I still lived in London.
Some video uploaded. Hopefully it will be visible:

The old WCK maxim about bong sau never stays (bong but ting lau). Doesn't that really apply to every Wing Chun "hand"?
If tan sau, bong sau, fook sau, gum sau, lan sau, etc. are actions rather than...
Hi Joy, yes I'm sure. Pak Mei & Chow Gar also stress shoulders and elbows down just like Wing Chun. Training stances are narrow like WCK as well, but no YJKYM.
Unfortunately no pics of the Hung...
Last but not least Chow Gar Praying Mantis (Charlie also organised the meet-up & Keith who was very knowledgeable in Chow Gar and Tai Chi).
Charlie demonstrating 三步箭 Saam bou jin (3-Step Arrow...
Some Xing Yi photos (5 elements) - the photos don't justice to Wei's motion/mechanics.

My job changed drastically back in the end of 2012 so I dropped out from the forum. Never had the time to dip back in so surprised to see such a change in the forum.
I also dropped out of Wing...
Condolences to the Fung Family and the Gulao Wing Chun community.
The Chinese characters are "Tai Ci quan" not Tai Chi Chuan / Taijiquan.
The "Tai" can be: extreme, big, large
The "Ci" can be: kind, benevolent, charitable
So it would chime with being from...
Yes, WWB was from Gulao
No Leung Jan did not teach the knives. He taught the pole.
But Jim, Fung sifu did not seem as alert as in your first video.
Good Putonghua BTW.
Wow, forgotten how strong Fung sifu's accent is. The gist of it is:
During the Japanese occupation, he took 7 baskets of melons/quashes to market to sell at Shabing(?), earned some money. Was...
I'll try and review these after work each day and provide the English translations for review. 3mins is not too long. How is the audio quality?
When you reduce anything to a label it becomes "fuzzy".
Your tan sau is not my tan sau etc.
I agree with you about a need for definition, but don't expect it to be universal.
The best you...
What do you mean by "outdate"?
Do you mean to make the ideas of structure and rooting obsolete in WCK?
Replace them with what?
Kaori Icho?

Comment from vid:
The mantou (steam bread bun) is afraid of the dog, the dog is afraid of the Cantonese (because we eat them), the Cantonese are afraid of the mantou (we prefer rice).

The Chinese chars. say "Lo Man Kam".
"Proof" is a moveable feast though isn't it? The only irrefutable proof is a witnessed baisi ceremony. But really even that is unnecessary. What really counts is what you can do as an exponent of...
