What are you traiing in now? I remember before I left that it was judo and san shou.
That's not true. All kids are sponges. they understand what they see and are taught. You teach them to train regularly, you teach them that they are to train hard, they understand. What adults don't...
speaking of which, since I'm back now - if another opening pops up, let me know.
And, Thanks!!
Awesome. I'll be ordering one soon. Do I need to mention you for the special discount?

wobbly belly?
Awesome. Good luck
How heavy would it be if filled?
in the tai cho san zhan we cave the chest and have the elbows down as well. I agree, trying to adjust to it sucks. I'm readjusting now, because in bak mei, the stance isn't pigeon toed. still very...
I practice with a 20 or 25lb kwan dao. I wish I could find one heavier. you can't even find one that is 20lbs anymore, except through wing lam and they want $500.00 for it.
Traditional Thai guard is actually more open, as the elbows flare outward. That is done so That incoming round kicks have possibility of connecting with your elbow, damaging the opponent. The...
not all of them. The tai cho sanchin I learned covers the center. it does have the arms spreading portion but the thrust covers the center and the three steps forward and backward have the center...
that's part of why I am asking. I am expecting certain forms - jik bo, san zhan, tan tui, sanchin, etc.
I'm not saying that's the only thing you train - I'm saying if that was the only form. spar, drill, firearms, etc - fine. but for the forms portion of your training, if you only kept one form, which...
Awesome. Never knew that. any links? Maybe my above post was a tad backwards, then. Were the differing san zhan sets perhaps from different sailors and later became associated with the different...
I've seen this before, this is a good example of it. you can see the differences here. other Okinawan styles had a different influence in their sanchin, some came from ngo cho, some southern tiger,...
If you could only work one form for the rest of eternity, which one would it be and why?
many southern styles have the set. crane, southern tiger, tai chor, ngo chor, dog boxing, etc. Tai chor preceded crane san zhan, which influenced goju.
it makes sense, but isn't always the case - exceptions to every rule, I suppose. I live in an mma town. there is good some good kung fu here and a good kyokushin guy. all their schools will ever see,...
Fly into the buildings with us!
gordeau was a kyokushin and savatte guy. he made a decent name for himself from fighting. he was only 2-2 in mma, but he actually competed in k-1, too.. I think he trains some k-1 guys now.
they actually used it in the same month. Hess was fined for the gouge. it was "legal" as I stated. you were fined for doing it.
see, even racist underwear!! :D:D
yeah, he was a big boy. he passed away a year or so ago from a heart attack.
