That would be too good to be true. For real? No way. You guys aren't really going to show. You're just yanking our chains....again! It'll just be me and that abnormally-large-cross-dresser sucking back shots of single malt. :p
I don't practice yijinjing anymore so I don't really remember the sequence, but that wouldn't stop me from making comments on the sidelines...
I leave Sunday afternoon.
too bad it's most likely not false.
i feel like you are giving internet trolls a bad impression now. :pQuote:

perfect contestant for "who wants to learn to blow fire today?" a good way to measure ones breath... eh? personally i am a pot smoking asthmatic, so my fireballs aren't so big. :DQuote:

i hear ya... it's been a few lifetimes for me. :pQuote:

i can leave sunday morning at 5am and provided i have no hassel along the way, i should be there before 7am. the moment i saw the photo-op, i knew i had to come. :)Quote:

cool,
see you when you get there.
Dale and me all hungover with uki & taai gihk yahn? I would be remiss if I didn't run that photo in the mag for all of our forum members who actually read the mag. ;)
My coworkers from our TN office Marcus Callis and Chris Stephens should be there by now. My flight leaves in a few hours.
ok, well, barring any unforeseen eventualities, I will be there Sunday morning ~10 AM (god help us all...)
if uki doesn't show, I will be one angry guy with a moose...
you just reminded me that i have to renew my two year subscription again...
i can see it now... gene running into the room screaming, "THE MOOSE IS LOOSE!!!" and dale crashing thru the walls, losing his kilt in the process, charging the flailing beast with all his might.
reminds me to stop by Borders and flip through it in the magazine section :D
if Dale keeps the kilt and Gene has his Nacho Nijettes, with you juggling your 3 Iron Balls and me wielding the Moose Cudgel, that's a superhero team right there (the Spastic Four, maybe?)
LMAO!! i like the free t-shirt though.
a kung fu magazine production. reserve your copy today! :)Quote:

so, it's all set - I;m coming up tomorrow - and with a surprise guest forum member as well!
so see everyone there (wherever "there" is - thank goodness for GPS...)
there will become here once we get there.
i'll be there about 9ish(the tigers lucky number) i hope i don't get lost in the crowd... just look for a smaller bald guy than dale with a tattoo across his face, carrying a leather backpack, and holding an iron bar across his shoulder. :D
that was nice... everyone got to play with my balls for a little bit. :D
We were so honored to get to meet y'all in the flesh. That was one of the high points of the weekend for me. Thanks so much for making the effort. It was a real treat.
Too bad Dale's kilt was horribly stained from celebrating his b-day the night before, but I do have pics, including a horrible embarrassing one of moose abuse by Big D. That's too much for the mag. We'll use one of the other more tasteful ones for print and post that one here. ;)
dang-sorry I missed it. I already had tix to see Cirque Du Soliel in the afternoon, and then Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction that same evening.
btw-save your money for Kooza. Only two good routines and the rest was not up to Cirque Du Soliel's usual standard. I was dissapointed, as I am a huge fan of CDS. Allegria, Saltimbanco, Quidam, Dralion were all great.
It was a great time by all.
Great to meet up with Lamapaisifu and Tai Gik Yahn and Uki.
Thanks for coming out and meeting up with Gene and myself.
My teacher also thanked you, and noted that you were both well mannered and knowledgeable people.
Aww, Gene can we print up the moose abuse please?????
If not it has to be put up here for all to see.
And for all those people that did not show, you missed some of the best Popcorn Sutton Shine.
Thanks Marcus and Billy Joe Bob for making my bday most excellent.
More photos later when I get back to Boston.
Im still here in Ellenville for this week to train with my teacher and all the other intstructors in the Jiulong Baguazhang system.
talk to you guys soon.
Again, it was great to meet actual people from the forum.
