    Hi Gene
I don't see anything on the board about the abbott's upcoming weeklong visit in March or about Shaolin Temple day. I think it is March 21st in Union Square San Francisco. The Fremont monks - specifically Yan Ran or Yan Song or if you know Diana Hong, they can provide info about the weeks events / schedule.

Gene, our Group (Shi Xing Ying) is planning on a trip to Shaolin next year. Scott Pettengill (from our Austin school) had some travel agent info from a few years back you had recommended but it has sense been lost. Can you reccommend anyone to book the trip with?

    Thanks in advance
    Chris

Thank you for your help. I've learned a lot from your magazine, your posts, and your example.

Bought my first issue of KungFuTaiChi magazine today. It is so much better than any of its competitors.

I've started studying Buddhism at Sheng-Yen's Chan Center, and tomorrow I will see the third Shaolin teacher in New York City. Other than Guolin, Yan Ming, and Heng Xin, can you recommend anyone in the New York area?

Take care of yourself and thank you again for all of the good you are doing for Chinese Martial Arts.

    Hi, Gene:

Great magazine and great stewardship of these boards. I was primarily a southern stylist, but as I've gotten older (and hopefully wiser) I've grown to appreciate the Northern styles, particularly the Shaolin temple. I just picked up the Shaolin Monastery book by Dr. Shahar. Any plans for more articles on Shaolin? It would be great to have a monthly magazine that just covered this system.
